Celebrating Feminist Wins: Women’s Networking Zone at AIDS 2020 Virtual

ATHENA co-convened a fantastic Women’s Networking Zone at the first-ever AIDS2020 VIRTUAL Conference under the theme Celebrating Feminist Wins and Co-Creating New Feminist Futures.

Feminist activists and women in their diversity have been powering the Women’s Networking Zone since 2006, and we are proud to add WNZ2020 onto our dynamic, powerful and collective herstory. The WNZ at AIDS2020 Virtual created space for women and girls to share our experiences, celebrate our movements, and work in solidarity to advance a feminist vision for HIV prevention, treatment, care and support. We want to sincerely appreciate the work of the truly diverse, intersectional and dynamic WNZ2020 planning committee. The committee put in their best efforts to conceptualize, mobilize and seamlessly execute what was a stellar performance for the first-ever virtual women’s networking zone.

We welcome you to continue amplifying the shared vision for a gendered HIV response using #FeministFuturesHIV. Mujeres Adelante!! Aluta Continua Until All Women Are Free!!
